Information Governance Officer - Newtownards

What The Job Is:

Information Governance Officer required for our public sector client based in Newtownards.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the administrative process associated with the management of Information Governance incidents. This position requires an immediate start and will be temporary ongoing for a minimum of 9 months with possible extension.

This is a full time position with a pay rate of £12.25 per hour for 37.5hr per week Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm.

What The Job Entails:

Coordinate the processing of the Trust’s Information Governance requests and other external agency requests, including statutory and regulatory bodies

Regular liaison with external agencies

Ensure accurate recording of Data Access Agreements and Data Protection Impact Assessments

Deal with all relevant correspondence in line with departmental policy

Prepare papers in response to communications/enquiries

Handle telephone calls and emails in a professional manner

What We Need From You:

4 GCSE’s including Maths and English at C grade and above

Minimum of 2 years admin experience in the Healthcare Sector
