Grade – G, scp 23 £32,076 to scp 27 £35,745 per annum

The Role
Join our team to deliver top-notch Information Governance services and ensure compliance with legislation like the Data Protection Act (DPA), Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), The Environmental Information Regulations (EIR), Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act (RIPA), and Common Law duty of confidentiality. Job Description
About You
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable knowledge of data protection law and practice, including GDPR, along with an understanding of the role of the DPO in a large, complex organisation. You will have the ability to work to deadlines, analyse issues and develop solutions to problems by working collaboratively. Excellent communication skills will be required as well as the ability to work under pressure and present complex information in a range of accessible formats. A good understanding of information security developed influencing and persuasion skills are required. You will have the ability and confidence to work independently whilst knowing when to ask for support / guidance.
