SalaryBalfour Beatty VINCI is proud to be designing and building a 90KM stretch of the West Midlands section of HS2. We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Information Management Traineewithin the I&M Systems.
This role will be based in Coleshill. Our head office is based located within an excellent location easily accessible via the M6 and M42. The office is also accessible via rail, we offer employees a shuttle bus transfer to our office from Birmingham international.
Role description:
- Support the Balfour Beatty Vinci joint venture, working on the HS2 project to deliver a world class railway in accordance with customer and stakeholder requirements and commitments, including verification activities to demonstrate compliance.
- Work as an integral member of the Information Management team, within the remit of digital delivery across the project, whilst supporting and interfacing with all functions.
Experienced required:
- Ability to manage their time effectively.
- Ability to collaboratively work with others as part of an Integrated Project Team.
- Ability to problem solve.
- Ability to demonstrate initiative and resilience.
- Willingness to learn and develop within the IM function.
- Awareness of administrative tasks within an office environment.
- Comfortable use of modern office computer systems, e.g., Microsoft 365.
- Access to a vehicle and/or easy access to public transport for the purpose of commuting to Sub Lot locations.

About Balfour Beatty VINCI
Working together for over 30 years, Balfour Beatty VINCI have been successful in delivering several significant infrastructures; creating unrivalled expertise and capability across rail, highways and aviation sectors in the UK and beyond. Our work with HS2 Balfour Beatty VINCI have been awarded a 90km section of the HS2 project from Long Itchington in Warwickshire to the centre of Birmingham and on to Handsacre in Staffordshire.
Overall, we will be building the following across all our sites:
- 42 viaducts totalling over 11km
- 66 overbridges
- More than 35 cuttings reaching over 30km
- 56 culverts
- 66 embankments reaching over 33km
- Building four motorway crossings requiring box structures
- Six interfaces with the existing rail requiring both dive-under and overbridge structures
