Role Overview

As an Information Manager, you will provide advice and support to business leadership and functional teams to drive best practices, support teams in adopting new ways of working, and provide ongoing support across the Information Management (IM) domain. With the opportunity to articulate requirements, design innovative environments, and work closely with key stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes, you will take responsibility for:

  • Global Library Support: Ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of the global library, facilitating access and management of information resources.
  • SharePoint Online Content Management: Overseeing the management and organisation of content within SharePoint Online to enhance accessibility and usability.
  • Access Management: Managing and controlling access to information assets to ensure data security and compliance.
  • Coordinating and Advising on IM Activities: Providing guidance and coordination for information management activities across the organisation.
  • Supporting Strategy and Direction: Contributing to the development and implementation of strategies for the maintenance and improvement of information assets and systems.
  • Liaising with Business Users: Understanding, capturing, and documenting future requirements

Here are the key skills and experience relevant to this role:

  • Information Management: Proven ability to coordinate and advise on information management (IM) activities.
  • SharePoint Expertise: Extensive experience with SharePoint, particularly SharePoint Online.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the different business activities and information types within an Exploration and Production (E&P) company.
  • Document/Content Management Tools: Strong awareness and understanding of various document and content management tools and technologies.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to clearly articulate ideas, requirements, and feedback to a variety of stakeholders.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Capable of analyzing complex information and data to inform decision-making processes.
