Belcan is seeking a highly motivated and detail–oriented Information Security Analyst on behalf of our client, a civil and industrial construction/engineering leader.

Main Responsibilities:
Security Incident Management: Assist in coordinating security incidents from initiation to resolution.
Internal Audit Coordination: Coordinate, schedule, and actively contribute to internal audits, (including ISO 27001, Cyber Essential Plus, and TickIT Plus) ensuring compliance and continual improvement.
Security Intelligence: Identify and monitor external information sources, making recommendations on the latest security threats and vulnerabilities.
Query Handling and Escalation: Serve as a point of escalation for service delivery teams, triaging and handling colleagues' queries related to Information Security.
Risk Management and Business Continuity: Assist in managing, maintaining, and testing Information Security aspects of the Business Continuity Plan. Identify risks, maintain the risk register, and actively participate in Information Security Steering Group meetings.
Third–Party Risk Management: Coordinate the monitoring of third–party risks, ensuring the organization's security posture is maintained.
Data Loss Prevention: Assess, monitor, and alert on Data Loss Prevention.
Tendering and Bid Support: Offer security support during commercial tendering and bid processes.

Education and Experience Required:
Experience with Information Security management systems.
Experience as an Information Security Analyst or Cyber Security Analyst.
Either achieved or working towards recognized Information Security qualifications (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, CISA, or comparable certifications).
Experience working within recognized Information Security frameworks and best practices, such as ISO27001 and NIST.
Degree in IT or similar, or extensive experience in an Information Security professional environment, including auditing.
