Information Security Analyst

One of the UK's largest and foremost law firms is currently recruiting for an Information Security Analyst. You would play a key role as part of an Information Security Team responsible for developing and promoting good Information Security behaviours throughout the firm, via awareness training, documentation audits and phishing simulation testing.

The Role
You'll be responsible for assisting the Information Security team in monitoring the company's network and devices for malicious and anomalous activity. You'll review incidents to assess their risk and urgency, escalating and responding incidents, conducting security tests and reviewing vulnerability assessments.
Key tasks to include…
- Promoting Information Security awareness, including phishing simulation testing and awareness training
- Monitoring compliance with the Information Security policy, performing Information Assurance testing to assess and report the effectiveness of the IT and Information Security controls
- Serving as an internal Information Security consultant to the business- from enquiries to incidents to projects
- Designing vulnerability assessments, penetration tests and security audits, working to mitigate identified risks
- Participating in the planning and design of enterprise security architecture

The Candidate
- Industry management certification or qualification (e.g. CISA, etc)
- Knowledge of industry security standards, frameworks and regulations
- Demonstrable experience of running and maintaining key Information Security solutions and tools
- Good knowledge and experience of best practice solutions delivery and associated commercial and business issues
- Strong communicator, able to produce quality technical material with capacity to present, discuss and explain issues
- Strong team working and experience of working and influencing across multi-disciplined teams
- Good influencing and persuasion skills with the ability to inspire multidisciplinary teams and build successful relationships at all levels in the business
