Job description

About the RoleQMUL is embarked upon an ambitious and comprehensive programme of work to transform its Information Security function within IT Services and across the University as a whole. This is a multifaceted role requiring a combination of complementary skills and experience, a broad knowledge of IT disciplines and a sound understanding of Information Security principles and best practice.  The post holder will work closely with all members of the Information Security team to establish a strong network of relationships with stakeholders across the university, understanding the faculties and delivering Information Security messages with contextual relevance.  The ATP must be able to communicate effectively and with confidence, at all levels, and promote the work of the Information Security team to a wide range of stakeholders. About youYou should have a sound understanding of security controls and control frameworks also experience using a variety of media, tools, techniques, and communications channels to educate and deliver security training and awareness messages to a diverse audience in a complex organisation.
