Information Security Compliance Manager

Information Security Compliance Manager – Glasgow hybrid - £50,000 - £65,000 + Excellent benefits!

Locke & McCloud are on the search for an experienced InfoSec/Compliance specialist to join our client and head up their InfoSec Compliance function.The ideal candidate will have experience in managing and maintaining compliance with ISO standards. You will be responsible for ensuring that our client’s Information Security policies and procedures align with ISO standards, in addition to managing the InfoSec strategy and roadmap, with room to grow out your own team!

Main responsibilities:

• Lead and manage our clients Information Security Compliance program, ensuring alignment with ISO 27001 and other relevant ISO standards.
• Develop, update, and maintain Information Security policies and procedures in accordance with ISO standards.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate and manage risks in line with ISO best practices.
• Coordinate and participate in internal and external audits to assess compliance with ISO standards.
• Collaborate with audit teams and stakeholders to address findings and implement necessary improvements.
• Collaborate with the incident response team to develop and maintain an effective incident response plan that complies with ISO requirements.
• Stay informed about industry trends, emerging threats, and changes to ISO standards, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.

To be considered for this role, you should have:

• Proven experience managing Information Security Compliance programs, with a focus on ISO 27001, and/or other ISO standards.
• In-depth knowledge of ISO standards and frameworks related to Information Security.
• Experience managing or overseeing organisations Information Security Compliance.
• Ability to work with senior stakeholders and c-suite clients to translate Information Security strategy on a technical and non-technical level.
