AddressInformation Security Engineer – London hybrid - £60,000 - £75,000 + Bonus + Benefits
Locke & McCloud are looking for an experienced Information Security Engineer to join our client who is expanding their established InfoSec team. This opportunity will allow you to play a crucial role in our clients established InfoSec team, allowing you to stay hands-on, whilst playing a key role in the strategy and roadmap development. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security measures to protect our clients systems and data from potential threats.
Main responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage security infrastructure to safeguard the organization's information assets.
- Develop and deploy security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, antivirus software, and encryption technologies.
- Work collaboratively with other teams to remediate identified vulnerabilities and implement proactive security measures.
- Develop, implement, and enforce Information Security policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Develop and deliver security training programs for employees to enhance their understanding of security risks and best practices.
- Generate regular reports on the status of the organization's security posture for management and relevant stakeholders.
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- Proven experience as an Information Security Engineer or similar.
- Strong understanding of networking, systems, and application security.
- Experience working with ISO27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, or similar.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to stay current with evolving security threats and industry trends.
