Hybrid - 2 days per week in either Horley/Portsmouth/Edinburgh/Glasgow office depending on location

We have a brilliant opportunity to join a constantly growing UK utilities company that are currently embarking on a 5-year long transformation of their IT Security team while they help revolutionise the UK energy industry. As a UK Critical National Infrastructure provider, Information Security is an integral part of their business operation, so this role is critical to the business.

We are looking for an Information Security Operations Manager who will lead the Information Security Operations team and will report directly into the CISO. You will manage a small, diverse team, providing technical guidance and managing activities such as creating processes, assessing incident reports, and measuring SOC performance metrics. This role can be based in either Horley, Portsmouth, Edinburgh or Glasgow depending on your location as the team are located across Southeast England and Scotland.

We are looking for someone that has:

• Previous people management experience within an InfoSec SOC
• Right to work in the UK - you must have lived in the UK for at least 5 years - you will be required to be Security Cleared.
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to review technical or procedural documents or process outputs to assure defined requirements have been fulfilled.
• Ability to interpret technical information and be able to relay this in an understandable manner.
