Your new role
Maintain and contribute to documentation, standards, guidelines, procedures, and any other material required to facilitate compliance against the Policy FrameworkPerform assessments with the assistance of the Information Security Team to pre-empt, mitigate, and swiftly respond to any audit findings that require actionBe one of the first points of contact for the Information Security Team and maintain Information Security related incident/change tickets on relevant systemsMaintain the existing Joiners, Movers and Leavers review process from an Information Security perspective and support the business in ensuring JML is tracked and access to systems adheres to the least privilege principleAssist the Senior Information Security Expert in the day-to-day management of the risk register. Working with system owners, business owners, or other relevant contacts to conduct 5 Whys Assessments and risk analysisDocument and manage ticket systems, metrics, non-conformances, and minute all meetings which support the ISMSOffer procedural guidance to personnel who are responsible for one or more Information Security systems, including System Administrators, Field Engineers, and Account OperatorsMaintain and implement new services and solutions, or coordinate activities, as directed by the Senior Information Security ExpertProvide assistance to the Field Service, Technical Projects and other Infrastructure teams in relation to Information SecurityWhat you'll need to succeed
Experience of operating and maintaining a schedule of worksProficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, SharePoint, and WikisAwareness of ISO 27001/27002, Cyber Essentials, and or equivalentOrganised and proactive with strong analytical skillsA positive 'can do' attitude and a self-starter who can work under own initiative in an ever-changing environmentWhat you'll get in return
You will get a contract role paying £160 - £180 per day (umbrella) that lasts for an initial period of three months with the view to extension. The role is three days per week and based in Milton Keynes with hybrid working on offer.
