IT Infrastructure Consultant – Enterprise Health Practice

Location: United Kingdom (Eligibility to work in the UK required)


Overview:

As an IT Infrastructure Consultant, you'll be at the forefront of technology transformation within our Enterprise Health Practice. You'll collaborate directly with clients, discerning their needs to shape their technology future. Partnering with technical architects, you'll design cutting-edge solutions and lead dynamic delivery teams to bring these technologies to life. The role is a blend of strategic consultation and practical, hands-on implementation.


Job Role:

You will join a team dedicated to excellence, working on technical projects that enhance our Managed Service offerings. You'll configure and deploy hardware and software, contributing your expertise across a range of infrastructure projects.


Autonomy is key – you'll operate with independence, backed by a deep understanding of our procedures and policies. Staying ahead of IT trends, you'll evaluate new technologies and integrate them into our services. Your problem-solving prowess and your ability to navigate issues will be pivotal in communicating complex solutions to stakeholders.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with architects to configure and implement the latest technologies for our clients.
  • Ensure secure and efficient project deployment to maintain service excellence.
  • Drive customer satisfaction through the delivery of high-quality technical projects.
  • Seek and identify enhancements to IT solutions or services for clients.
  • Support proof of concept and early adopter projects to successful delivery.
  • Share your expertise with service delivery and operational teams, enhancing product skills and knowledge.
  • Strengthen service delivery with your experience and capacity in supporting projects.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proficient in Enterprise Hardware, Security, Infrastructure, Cloud, and Virtualisation platforms.
  • Skilled in Network, Security, Firewall technologies, Server OS, and Datacentre Server/Storage hardware.
  • Capable with Virtual Desktop environments, Linux/Appliance systems, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
  • Solid grasp of core infrastructure technologies (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP).
  • Adherence to ITIL processes and an ability to work within structured project management frameworks.
