Information Technology Risk Manager

We are currently working with an established financial services provider in Brighton that is recruiting for an IT Risk Manager to join them on a permanent basis. This is a vital role for the business, working closely with the IT team to ensure the company's operational risk management framework is fully embedded. The successful IT Risk Manager will have the following responsibilities: senior management within IT across risk and controls closely with technical teams on the development and implementation of test controls in order to reduce risk, ensuring proper documentation at each step to developing and amending IT risk policies and procedures evaluating the existing IT controls and risk strategies risk on IT projects, systems and third party suppliers the effectiveness of issues management within IT out MI reporting to be presented to senior management and the risk committee and managing any new risks the business faces ways to reduce risk of major incidents or breaches The ideal candidate for the IT Risk Manager role will have the following skills and experience: years in IT Risk Management roles working within financial services or similarly regulated environments ability to analyse and manage risk knowledge of risk management frameworks and methodologies, e.g. ISO27001, NIST, COBIT ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders communication and interpersonal skills leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and drive high performing teams In line with the Conduct Regulations 2003, when advertising permanent vacancies JNC Recruitment are acting as an Employment Agency, and when advertising temporary/contract vacancies JNC Recruitment are acting as an Employment Business
