The Role
The IT Support Analyst is central to ensuring that all colleagues at Evident have a secure and productive work environment by providing equipment that enables our teams to collaborate, unlocking value as rapidly as possible. They are responsible for ensuring the setup and configuration of users and resources on Windows 11 & Office 365. They will be responsible for resolving support queries from our internally based staff within SLA’s. This role covers all aspects of IT End User Support, from printers and Audio-Visual technology to cloud configuration in 365 and Azure. An ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation in a customer focused manner is paramount.
The IT Support Analyst will also support the IT Security and Infrastructure manager in ensuring that our working environment is kept safe from malicious cyber threats and will be responsive to their role in mitigating these. Through following process and thinking about security at every level.
What you’ll do
The main duties of the IT Support Analyst are to:
- Ensure security of all end user devices and management systems are patched and monitored for compliance.
- Provide support for the Office 365 systems, e.g., Outlook and Teams.
- Provide Audio Visual Polycom system troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Lead the setup, configuration, documentation, and secure management of all devices used throughout Evident.
- Maintain the asset register for all hardware and software assets, ensuring accurate records of acquisitions, disposals, and licenses.
- Maintain detailed documentation of infrastructure configurations, device setups, security protocols, and asset records. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure a consistent high level of IT service are available to our colleagues.
- Provide support to the technology team with support on Azure, 365 and other cloud services.
- Monitor systems, check backups and document processes to ensure Evident remains compliant with Cyber Essentials plus and other audits.
- Support Security & Infrastructure Manager on configuring systems securely and best practice is followed.
About You
You will:
- Possess IT qualification equivalent to Windows 11. Comptia A+ is a plus.
- Demonstrate previous experience in an IT support-based role.
- Solid technical background with an ability to give instructions to a non-technical audience.
- Be proficient in the use of Windows 365. Experience with Azure and Powershell is also highly desirable.
- Have strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Be able to multi-task and work under pressure with excellent time management skills.
- Possess knowledge of AWS, GCP and Meraki, or the capability to establish knowledge fast.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to work, with motivation to get things done.

Package Description
- Salary: £25 – 30k per annum (FTE) depending on experience.
- Hours of work: Full time, 35 hours per week Monday to Friday with a one-hour lunch break.
