Infrastructure Engineer

Role: Infrastruture Engineer
Location: Plymouth (3 times a week onsite)
Salary: GBP35,000 - GBP45,000 + Benefits

The position:

• Reporting to the Systems Infrastructure Manager you ensure the maintenance in operational conditions of the system infrastructure for the group and ensure too about the reservation system environment.
• You are responsible for the quality and integrity of systems and data within the deadlines set by the business constraints in accordance with the security rules in force in the Company.
• You may be required to manage internal or external partners in the context of deployment projects, continuous improvement actions, and skills transfer to the Service Desk.
• You provide level 2 and 3 expertise support to users, in collaboration with the Service Desk team (level 1) and application managers (level 2 and 3).
• You contribute to the management and maintenance in good operational condition of certain technical sub-domains (messaging, office automation, disk storage, networks, databases, backups, etc.).

Technical skills needed:

• Windows 7/10/2008/2016, CITRIX Xenapp, VMWare, Office 2010/2016/365, Linux Redhat
• Infrastructures: San EMC, Vplex, notion of hyperconvergence
• Software: Exchange, Archiveone, Powershell, Shell
• Backup: Veeam, Dataprotector - Supervision: Centreon Nagios - Databases: Sybase, SqlServer, MySQL. - Vax systems.
• You have proven experience in Microsoft Exchange and Office 365.
• You have experience in the cloud (AWS, GCP or Azure).
