Our client, a leading consultancy, are recruiting for an Infrastructure Project Manager to join them on a contract basis in Northern Ireland.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Broadly skilled in information technology including application and infrastructure environments.
- Has a comprehensive knowledge of relevant development lifecycles including traditional waterfall and agile methods
- Proven and demonstrable experience of project delivery in a similar environment
- Likely educated to degree level or equivalent
- Practitioner certificate in PRINCE2 or equivalent project management qualification
- Principles, methods, techniques and tools for the effective management of projects from initiation through to implementation
- Methods and techniques for reporting progress and financial compliance against an agreed plan
- Automated tools to assist in the project management process, by automating mechanical tasks such as scheduling, resource balancing, and time recording.
- Tools and techniques for risk management
- Methods and techniques associated with planning and monitoring progress of projects
- The identification, assessment and management of project risks, which could result in time or cost over-runs, or failure to deliver products which are fit for purpose
