Hybrid Model: 3 days onsite - 2 days remote

About the Role:

Our client, a Financial organisation in London is seeking an Infrastructure Project Manager who has demonstrable experience delivering Network Infrastructure Upgrades.

This project will be working on an End-of-life replacement therefore EOL experience is mandatory as well as strong governance and stage gate process experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure successful Infrastructure Project deliveries on time and to budget
• Work with stakeholders to deliver projects using formalised project processes and procedures
• Work with other related projects to understand and manage project dependencies
• Work with technical and non-technical resources to plan analysis work and highlight risks and issues
• Ensure project reporting is maintained showing progress against outstanding milestones, status, resource requirements, issues, risks and dependencies
• Run steering committees to ensure appropriate Governance of projects
• Work with third-party suppliers to enable the successful delivery of projects
• Managing multiple stakeholders demands and priorities
• Optimise and ensure adherence to project management standards, policies and PMO framework

Essential Technology / Skills:

• Significant project management experience in a financial services organisation 
• Delivery experience and knowledge of the following is highly desirable
  
  • Arista networks
  • CISCO networks
  • Checkpoint
  • Fortinet
  • Firewall Orchestration
  • Load Balancing
• End-to-end experience of the project lifecycle
• Strong stakeholder and financial management
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills and the ability to create original concepts on projects

Specific knowledge in some of the following areas would be an advantage:

• Change Management
• Risk Management
• Agile and Waterfall Project Management
• JIRA / Confluence
• Project Server
• Project management of application platforms
• Exchange knowledge
• Trading Systems
