Due to company expansion, an opening to join a well, established global company, within their manufacturing site based in Corby, Northamptonshire as an Injection Moulding Machine Setter has arisen. We are looking for an experienced Plastic Injection Mould Setter with proven experience in safely completing mould set-ups, and processing to produce quality products.

• Ensure Injection Moulding Machines, auxiliary equipment and automated systems are set to regulation parameters, are producing product that meets quality standards, and all production goals.
• Set up and start up Moulding Machines. Check product with callipers, optical tools, and other testing methods and devices.
• Monitor and troubleshoot processing problems, perform preventative maintenance tasks, and document process changes.
• Understand the importance of reducing material scrap to protect our environment and reduce costs.
• Provide feedback on mould design and assist Tool and Die Makers to 'dial in' each mould for optimal cycle time and quality.
• You are willing to work on a rotational shift system and would enjoy the opportunity to collaborate in the start of our 16th production plant.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with equipment, materials, devices, or products, and prevent repeat quality issues.

We would expect the successful Injection Moulding Machine Setter to be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of Injection Moulding machinery, be an excellent communicator and work well as part of a team and be able to work well to production targets. You will be supported 1 to 1 to become familiar with the company processes and procedures. This would be an ideal role for you if you have worked within Machine Setting, Machine Technician, or a Machine Programming position.
