Injection Moulding Setter

Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Injection Moulding Setter to be based in Basildon on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will be setting up tools and mould plastic components to meet scheduled customer and company demands.
Roles & Responsibilities:
* To operate Injection Moulding machines according to procedure.
* Set-up and operate Injection Moulding machines to manufacture plastic components.
* To set machine controls, regulating moulding temperature, volume of plastic, moulding pressure, and time according to knowledge of plastics and moulding procedures.
* To trim excess material from parts if necessary.
* To ensure parts produced meet the criteria of the work instructions.
* To maintain production tools ready and in a safe condition by administering the tooling preventative maintenance program
* Troubleshoots and repairs equipment as needed.
Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications:
* Experience in a plastic moulding manufacturing environment.
* Experience in setting of moulding injection machines.
* Able to operate forklift to move tools to and from the moulding area.
* Able to perform basic maths function.
Working hours are Monday – Thursday 07:30-16:30 and 07:30 – 13:45 on Fridays.
In return our client offers a salary between £12.00 - £13.00 per hour.
