Injection Moulding Technician

Our client based in Basildon are seeking Mould Setters for the following shift patterns:

The shifts available are:

Night shift 19:00-07:00 Wednesday - Saturday (total 48 hours).

Day shift 07:00 - 19:00 Tuesday - Saturday or Sunday - Thursday (total 60 hours)

Hourly rate is dependent on the shift and level of experience.

It is essential that your housekeeping standards are good and you follow the 5s methodology.

You must be able to work both individually and as part of a team, work to deadlines and be able to follow a detailed production plan.

Your duties as a mould setter will include:

• Mould changing
• Colour changing
• Material changing
• Mixing pcr
• Quality checks
• Mould/machine maintenance
• Set robots, 6 axis, side entry, over head, IML (In mould label) and standard pick and place
• Troubleshoot moulding issues
• Troubleshoot robot/IML issues
• Use of overhead crane
• Good housekeeping
• 5s (Training given)
• Lean six sigma (Training given)
