Innovators in Residence FE - 4 posts Come join a pioneering team, where we're revolutionising education and industry in alignment with Greater Manchester's industrial strategy and Innovation Plan. We're seeking committed, collaborative, and forward-thinking Innovators in Residence to shape the future of education and industry across four frontier sectors. As part of Oldham College's support for the Greater Manchester Further Education innovation Programme, we are looking to recruit and host 4 Innovators in Residence providing support throughout the Greater Manchester Boroughs. As an Innovator in FE Residence, you'll lead the charge in identifying industry trends and future skill requirements within one of our four frontier sectors: Advanced Materials and Manufacturing Digital and Creative Economy Health and Data-Driven Medicine NetZero and Clean Growth You'll collaborate with stakeholders, develop innovative CPD programmes and disseminate knowledge to empower educators, students, policymakers, and industry professionals. We believe that this approach to collaboration between Further Education and Industry is highly innovative and unique in the UK, and so are looking for creative and collaborative professionals who enjoy developing new ways of working and establishing exemplars of practice. To be successful in the role, you will need Proven experience in research, analysis, and strategic planning. Deep understanding of your chosen frontier sector and future skill requirements. Excellent communication and project management skills. Passion for innovation and driving positive change in education and industry. Awareness of Greater Manchester industrial strategy priorities. These important roles might be especially interesting to an experienced professional from industry who wants to 'give back' to the community and economy, or a research / academic interested in exploring how knowledge can be disseminated and practically applied in the development of a wider skills framework.
