Laboratory Solutions are recruiting for an established environmental testing company who are hiring multiple Inorganic Analysts due to bringing on more contracts.
Are you passionate about analytical chemistry and looking for an exciting opportunity in a leading environmental testing laboratory?
My client is seeking a skilled and motivated Inorganic Analyst to join our dynamic team. As an Inorganic Analyst, you will play a crucial role in conducting precise and accurate analysis of inorganic compounds in various sample matrices.
The Role: • Perform a wide range of inorganic analyses using techniques such as ICP-OES, ICP-MS, AAS, and wet chemistry methods(in-house training provided!).
- Conduct sample preparation, ensuring adherence to established protocols and quality control procedures.
- Operate and maintain analytical instruments and equipment, ensuring accurate and reliable results.
- Analyse and interpret data perform data validation, and
prepare reports with attention to detail and data integrity.
- Collaborate with the laboratory team to troubleshoot technical issues and maintain efficient laboratory operations.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment and proper handling of hazardous chemicals. The Person: • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in inorganic analysis using techniques such as ICP-OES, ICP-MS, AAS, and wet chemistry methods.
- Familiarity with quality control procedures, laboratory safety, and regulatory requirements. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail. • Proficient in operating and maintaining laboratory equipment and instruments.
