Inorganic Analytical Chemist

Contract Inorganic Analytical Chemist in Ellesmere Port
We are seeking a skilled Inorganic Analytical Chemist to join our client on a contract basis in Ellesmere Port. The successful candidate will have experience in Inorganic Analytical Chemistry techniques, including ICP-MS, XRF, and IC, and possess a strong understanding of sample preparation and data analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct day to day inorganic analysis of samples using ICP-OES and LECO and other analytical techniques as needed
- Develop and validate analytical methods
- Perform routine instrument maintenance and troubleshooting
- Compile and analyse data, and prepare reports
- Ensure compliance with laboratory procedures and regulations in line with ISO 17025, 9001 and 14001
- Collaborate with other team members to meet project goals and deadlines
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry or related field
- Strong understanding of Inorganic Analytical Chemistry techniques, including ICP-OES and LECO
- Experience in sample preparation and data analysis
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with laboratory safety procedures and regulations
