Job description

Role: Inside Sales Team Leader
Hours: 8.30am-5pm; Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £30K - £35K plus bonus
Location: South Birmingham (with parking)

We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-driven individual to join a friendly team as an Inside Sales Team Leader for a sustainable packaging manufacturer. This newly created role will require you to:

  • continue to develop customer focused strategies
  • strengthen new and existing relationships
  • increase repeat business
  • enhance the overall customer experience.

You will lead a small internal Sales Team, providing guidance to ensure excellent customer service is achieved across the company, building our reputation and improving customer loyalty.

The role will suit someone who is hands-on and has a previous track record of success in new business development as you will also be responsible for a small territory to maintain and develop.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills. Other key strengths are enthusiasm, efficiency and an excellent attention to detail.

Key responsibilities:

  • Oversee the complete customer journey to ensure the optimum experience, whether through direct selling, website enquiries or other marketing initiatives.
  • Lead and offer support to our internal Sales Team to strengthen current working practices and to reach targets.
  • Manage your own portfolio of customer accounts including expanding the range of products purchased and developing new business.
  • Ensure accuracy in all sales office administration including enquiries and orders.
  • Analyse and report KPIs, sales figures and other data.

Essential Candidate requirements:

• Proven sales ability in a B2B setting
