As Impact and Research Manager you will oversee the delivery of our impact strategy, execution of our new evaluation framework, and lead regular advocacy and Research projects. With responsibility for the monitoring, evaluation and reporting of the Trust’s funded programmes, you will have strengths in impact monitoring, communication and influencing to successfully embed the impact strategy vision and practices internal and externally. You will have the knowledge and skills to iterate and develop our approach to impact and Research, to best demonstrate and advocate for the needs of children living in poverty.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
Implementation of The Childhood Trust’s impact strategy and evaluation framework.
Ensure robust data collection, analysis and reporting against the evaluation framework.
Use appropriate digital tools e.g. Salesforce and online surveys, for the aggregation, development, and presentation of data.
Produce impact reports that include meaningful and compelling narratives.
Co-ordinate TCT’s research strategy and manage the life cycle of research projects.
Understand and communication best practice across research and impact.
Work with the development team to produce impact data for fundraising needs.
Manage special projects as needed.
Adopt an insight led approach, iterate, and continuously improve monitoring, evaluation and learning practices.
Ensure impact and Research is complaint with safeguarding, health and safety and legal practices in all areas of delivery.
Support the development of TCT’s profile in impact and Research, and represent the charity at visits, events and meetings as required.
Foster a culture of collaboration, learning and innovation across impact and Research.
Contribute to the development of The Trust’s strategic goals.
Support the success of the team with other duties as required.
