The post works under the direction of the AssistantOfficial Receiver - Liquidation and Insolvency (also referred herein as"Assistant Official Receiver'') and is responsible for overall dutiesrelated to the management, progress and regulation of corporate and personalinsolvencies ensuring that cases are efficiently and proactively progressed inaccordance with the Companies Act 1981; the Companies Winding-Up Rules 1982;the Bankruptcy Act 1989 and The Bankruptcy Rules 1990 and the regulation ofprivate liquidations. The post holder is also responsible for other regulatoryduties including the management, review and regulation of voluntary liquidationfilings in accordance with the Companies Act 1981.
The successful candidate must possess a minimum offive years of demonstrated experience in accountancy and insolvency/liquidationwith three (3) years of insolvency supervisory experience.
