An exciting opportunity within our Plant Attachments division has arisen for a Inspection Engineer to join the team. You will be responsible for assisting the busy yard operatives to ensure targets are achieved and customer satisfaction is met.
- Assisting workshop supervisor and depot manager.
- Organise returns and repairs of stock in yard.
- Completing Pre hires inspections, that are requested by the hire desk.
- Completing off hired inspections of equipment, ensuring all repairs and damages are recorded accordingly within the company guidelines and Depot manager is informed.
- Assisting the co-ordination of vehicle movements in , out and around the yard.
- Ensuring that the yard and any covered space is kept tidy with “ready for hire “ equipment, “equipment off-hired not checked” and “equipment to be repaired” stored within their designated areas
- Ensure the yard complies with Health and Safety standard and the team complies with and follows the relevant procedures.
- Ensure all equipment is repaired and maintained in line with manufacturers guidelines
- Carry out regular stock checks on material to ensure accuracy of the counts of equipment
