Inspection Engineer

We have an excellent opportunity to become a part of a Quality team, you will ensure components are inspected to drawing tolerance/specifications efficiently and accurately, with a high attention to detail.
The role requires robust inspection practices and techniques to be employed, typically
through the creation and adjustment of CMM programs
Your Time at Work
Inspection of components through CMM or manual methods
Setting and adjusting CMM programs
Ensuring all quality documents are maintained and completed accurately
Liaising with other departments on quality related matters for resolution
Where required work within other areas of the Quality department
Other duties as deemed relevant in the fulfilment of the position
Our Perfect Worker
Essential
Recognised CMM programmer training
Working knowledge of Mitutoyo CMM's using COSMOS platform
Ability to use various inspection equipment
In-depth knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) as well as the ability to read technical drawings and specifications
Good verbal and written communication skills
Desirable
Engineering knowledge base/background, ideally within Aerospace
Working knowledge of ZEISS CMM's
Computer literate
Possess strong organisational skills
Key Information and Benefits
Day Shift:
Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4pm
Friday 7:30am to 12:30pm
Overtime available.
