Job Role: Inspector

Location: Yeovil

Full Time/Hours: Full Time Perm

Salary: TBC

Summary of functions: To ensure that all product conforms to customer drawings and specifications. Perform Inspection and complete First Article Reports to AS9102. Assess and decipher SPC/Capability data and react accordingly.

This role will include:

• Maintaining a safe place of work, ensuring all activities performed are in accordance with regulatory and company Health and Safety policy and requirement.
• Carry out First Offs, In-Process, Goods Inwards and Final Inspection to customer drawings and specifications.
• Prepare and carry out FAIR's to AS9102.
• Support all Quality Assurance systems to ensure compliance with AS9100 as well as all required company, customer and regulatory ruling and process.
• Working with in-house MRP system (Tricorn) to log progress of components.
• Continuously improve the business by supporting the company Kaizen process.
• Keep the workspace clean and organised (5s). Clean and maintain the work area and equipment including tools.
• Ensure correct authorities (training and skills) are in place to carry out the role under the regulations of the QMS.

• Highly analytical with excellent attention to detail.
• Collaborative and able to work as part of a team and an individual when required.
• Ability to thrive within a fast-paced manufacturing business environment.
• High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation.
• Previous knowledge of inspection and/or surface treatments.
