The candidate will be responsible for Electrical installations and modifications on site / facility projects.
The duties and responsibilities of the Installation Electrician:
- Reading and understanding complex engineering drawings & schematics.
- Installation and modifications of cable trays, trunking, conduits
- Installation and modifications of power and data cables
- Wiring of power and controls cabinets and associated equipment
- Troubleshooting electrical installation issues using root cause analysis and documenting resolution
- Assisting PLC & Robot programmers to troubleshoot installation and early commissioning issues.
The ideal experience for the Installation Electrician:
- City & Guilds 2382 18th edition
- ECS / CSCS Cards
- IPAF
- Electrical Regulations
- City & Guilds 2391
- Test & Inspection Qualification
- Jib Registered
- Current FLT, Cherry Picker, MEWP Licence
- Previous Experience of working on industrial electrical installation projects within a production or automotive environment
- Equipped with own comprehensive tool kit with suitable tools for the role.
- Documentation for Software Related Tasks, such as DCP Programming
