Employing around 75 people across the UK, this organisation provides end-to-end solutions to the healthcare industry, this involves design, manufacture, commissioning and aftercare of bespoke equipment & machinery.
This employer is based in Yorkshire, but this Installation Engineer role will cover the South of England, meaning the successful candidate can be based anywhere south of Birmingham.
Key Responsibilities of the Installation Engineer:
- Working in a variety of operational Healthcare facilities (NHS & private hospitals, dental practices, veterinarian facilities etc.) as well as construction/new build sites to install and commission specialist equipment
- Continuously adhering to the clinical nature of the above mentioned environments – for example, adhering to infection controls, cleanliness policies, clothing policies etc.
- Reading, interpreting and working directly from blueprints, diagrams and drawings whilst effectively using a variety of tools & techniques to ensure all systems are accurately installed
For the Installation Engineer, we are keen to receive applications from individuals who possess:
- Formal qualifications within EITHER an Electrical or Mechanical subject (Degree, Apprenticeship, HND, HNC, City & Guilds/NVQ/BTEC Level 3 etc.)
- Previous experience working in a hands-on position, ideally within a Service, Install or Fitting focused role, within an Engineering, Manufacturing or Industrial environment
- A flexible approach to work with the willingness to travel across the region and frequently stay away from home – full UK driving license is required
- The willingness to learn & develop – because of the niche nature of these products, full training and support will be provided
In return, the successful Installation Engineer will receive:
- Annual Salary: Up to £40,000.00 (£19.72 per hour)
- Holiday Allowance: 33 Days including public holidays
- Door to door pay with frequent overtime available (133% Midweek / 150% Saturdays / 200%)

- Company Pension: 8% Combined contribution
- Comprehensive training to become multi-skilled (for example 18th edition & electrical qualifications paid for if you are Mechanically bias) as well as ongoing support & guidance
