Job Title: Installation Operative – De-Installer
Location: Chepstow
Salary: £22,000 – £25,000 a year depending on experience + (on average £3200 a year additional payments for staying away)Full time, permanent position
Hours: 5 days a week 8:30-5 Monday to Friday. 37.5 hours a week

Our very well established client in Chepstow is currently looking for a Installation Operative – De-Installer to work for them driving and De-Installing Electrical cables up and down the country. role to join their team. This role would require you to work away from home (ALL EXPENSES PAID TRAVEL FOOD HOTEL ALLOWANCES WHILST AWAY FROM HOME) Please note this role requires a basic disclosure check.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with deinstallation of equipment/stock on customer sites globally as requested by the Service Delivery Executives
  • Complete deinstallation projects by using best practise manual handling techniques.
  • Packaging of equipment in line with Company guidelines.
  • Ensure that stock from customer sites is packaged correctly and in the most cost-efficient way for our Client.
  • Liaise with Customers on site and raise any problems to the Lead Deinstall Engineers to resolve any immediate problems.
  • Maintain active communications with Service Delivery Executives/Manager to ensure the deinstallation project is effectively managed. Reporting any incidents to the Service Delivery Executives.
  • Driving from Chepstow to project sites.
  • During project downtime the Deinstall Operative, will operate in the Warehouse site based at Chepstow. Duties include coordinate the unloading, sorting and break down of stock received.
  • Any other reasonable duties as directed by the Lead Deinstall Engineers and Service Delivery Manager
  • Working in line with Company Health and Safety rules and those of the project site.
  • THIS ROLE WILL INVOLVE HEAVY LIFTING
The successful Candidate will have:
  • ESSENTIAL – Ability to work away from home sometimes at short notice and work weekends when required.
  • Experience of high-volume manual handling.
  • Experience of working to deadlines.
  • Great teamwork skills.
  • A valid full UK driving licence.
  • Experience of working in a similar role is desirable.
