About the role This role is focused on providing key support and functions to enable the Institute’s activities across all operational areas, including HR and recruitment, financial processes, and health and safety/estates management. Reporting to the Institute Manager, the role holder will set up, implement, oversee and manage administration processes contained in this job description, and be proactive in contributing and suggesting ideas for improvement. About you Act as the first point of contact for IIPP and manage front-of-house activity, answering and/or escalating enquiries efficiently and appropriately to colleagues. • Support the Institute Manager to ensure the Institute complies with organisational and statutory Health and Safety regulations. • Administer and manage all HR and procurement processes, including recruitment, contractor set-ups, and ensuring staff reviews, inductions, and probations are completed effectively. • Promote a customer service culture across the Institute’s structure. • Set up, implement, and oversee financial administration processes, in line with the Institute Manager and Faculty Finance officer’s requests. • Support the forecasting and budget development process at IIPP. • Process purchases, internal transactions and staff/visitor expenses, as required.
