We are supporting a leading insurance broker committed to providing tailored insurance solutions to businesses in the nonprofit, charities, faith and education sectors, who is looking to recruit a Client Manager who has a focus on providing first-class customer satisfaction and comprehensive commercial insurance coverage to your book of clients.
About the role:
In this role, you will be responsible for handling your clients' commercial insurance needs. You will work closely with your client and support the Client Director providing the best possible service dealing with premium level of £3k upwards. You will also be responsible for:
- Creating documents for new customers about their insurance requirements.
- Obtaining renewal terms for customers and researching suitable alternatives to produce presentations.
- Coordinating all renewal quotes for existing customers along with any mid-term adjustments to be considered.
- Ensuring all customer details are recorded accurately and entered into the system in a timely fashion.
- Managing insurer queries about customer policies. Confirming cover with relevant insurers, processing policies and chasing up outstanding documentation when required.
- Securing delivery of policy documentation from insurers and checking before approval and release.
- Dealing with account queries and credit control matters highlighting any concerns to account managers on time.
Desirable skills and experience:
- Commercial insurance cross-class experience (preferred). We may also consider candidates with Private Client/HNW experience.
- Previous experience of working towards targets.
- Risk awareness in handling customer information.
- Ability to recognise potential risks and seek advice when required.
- Evidence of rapport-building and experience in providing solid customer service focus with outstanding communication and social skills.
- Due diligence and process-driven to deadlines, happy to forward plan, organise and analyse information.
- Previous experience with Acturis would be an added advantage.
