Advancing People are assisting their Bedford based Insurance client with the appointment of a compliance professional.
The right candidate will have knowledge and experience of FCA rules and regulations and potentially a CII qualification, although that is not essential.
This role will be working within a small and friendly team!
Main Responsibilities:
Ensure that the necessary regulatory and governance requirements for the firm.
Provide advice and guidance to all staff
Set and monitor polices against regulatory requirements
Maintain a good knowledge of FCA and other regulatory requirements and interpret various rules to formulate and propose solutions appropriate to business requirements.
Provide compliance advice, guidance, quality assurance and training to staff to ensure that effective policies and procedures are developed and maintained in order to promote compliance with all appropriate regulations.
Develop and review compliance manuals, policies and procedures, and associated documentation.
Manage the product governance process.
Job Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years Compliance experience working within an FCA regulated Insurance business.
This is a full time permanent role, based in the centre of Bedford. The salary offered is 30,000 depending on experience.
