Intake Manager | Fashion | Greater Manchester | £50k

Zachary Daniels are excited to be partnering with an amazing, well recognised fashion brand who have exciting growth plans. We are seeking a driven and passionate Intake Manager to lead and manage the end to end supply chain of product coming from international manufacturers into global distribution centres.

The ideal candidate will have previous management experience, ideally within an Import / Intake / Inbound environment and have an awareness of customs requirements. The role holder must be confident of working with large data sets to create reports.

The role as Intake Manager:

• Container consolidation planning
• Reporting of visibility of DC bookings to support DC capacity planning
• Costing global transport, ensuring efficiencies and looking for supply chain improvements
• Processing all global customs requirements
• Working with freight forwarders and global 3PL warehouses
• Reporting on performance to share with wider SLT

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven management experience of working within an import/inbound freight environment
• Retail experience is desirable
• Working knowledge of warehouse management systems and various modes of transport
• Previous experience of working with large data sets
• Some export knowledge would be an advantage
