Integration Architect (ServiceNow & Sage)

We are seeking an experienced Integration Architect to lead the decoupling and separation of ServiceNow and Sage systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for breaking integration points and ensuring both systems can operate independently.

Breaking the integration points and ensuring both systems can operate independently.

Process

Identify Integration Points:

- Catalog Integration - Determine if there are data exchanges, API calls, or connectors used for syncing data between ServiceNow and Sage.

- Process Dependencies - Identify any business processes that rely on both systems.

- Custom Scripts/Workflows - Check for any custom scripts or workflows in ServiceNow or Sage that involve the other system.

Plan the de-coupling:

- Impact Assessment - Assess the impact of the separation on business processes and users.

- Communication plans - Inform stakeholders and users about the upcoming changes.

- Back-up plan - Ensure you have backups of both systems and data before making any changes.

Modify or remove Integration:

- API's - Disable or remove API calls between ServiceNow and Sage.

- Connectors/Integration's - Disconnect or disable any middleware or integration platforms (like Dell Boomi, MuleSoft) that link the two systems.

- Custom scripts - Modify or delete any custom scripts that facilitate integration.

Update Business process:

- Process re-design - Redesign business processes to work independently without relying on integration.

- Documentation - Update documentation to reflect the new process flows.
