Ashley Kate HR are excited to be working with a company based in Borehamwood as they look to recruit for a Full Time, Interim Assistant HR Advisor.
This will be a Fixed Term Contract for a period of 12 months

Job Type: 12 month FTC
Hours: Full Time - 36 hours per week
Salary: £27,979 - £31,521 per annum
Hybrid working is available in this role - 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
About this role:
·To provide general HR advice on policies and procedures to managers and employees. To develop and implement new procedures as required to ensure the service provided is continually improved.
·To train, delegate and supervise the day to day work of the HR Administrator.
·Oversee and monitoring the following areas of their day to day work:
oRecruitment administration
oInvoices and purchase orders
oNew starter and leaver systems processes
oTraining administration
·To produce contracts of employments and provide advice to managers on terms and conditions.
·To undertake data analysis in the following areas which will involve running data reports, updating spreadsheets, maintaining records:
oMonthly Sickness Absence report
oQuarterly Return to work interviews report
oMonthly location tracking and analysing compliance with the Hybrid Working Policy
oQuarterly right to work in the UK tracking
oQuarterly establishment report
oQuarterly Recruitment Campaign report
oQuarterly Leavers and exit interview report
oAppraisal completion and training needs analysis
oEqual opportunities reporting
oMonthly Deficit report
·To act as systems administrator.
·To be responsible for the accurate recording of sickness information and liaison with the Payroll department including producing all letters involving sick pay.
·To support the HR Advisers in managing HR case work, including the production of disciplinary bundles.
·To support the HR Advisers in the provision of training, qualifications and apprenticeships, involving liaising with training providers, providing general advice, drafting correspondence, running reports and analysing data, researching solutions.
·To write letters to amend contract details such as changes in hours or salary as requested by Human Resources Advisers.
·To be responsible for co-ordinate the DBS process involving providing information to staff and managers on the process and ensuring it is followed and records are maintained.
·To share responsibility for monitoring the HR inboxes and ensuring that all speculative letters/emails are responded to appropriately.
·To undertake project related tasks and research appropriate to the nature of this post including undertaking policy research and benchmarking.
Assistant HR Advisor - About you
·CIPD qualification
·Experience of working in a HR related role and managing HR processes
·Excellent data analytics and reporting skills
·Excellent attention to detail
·Solid MS Excel skills
·Experience of managing and reporting from HR Information Systems
·Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
