Interim Director of FP&A

Interim Director of FP&A - £1000 per day inside IR35 - London/Birmingham/Hybrid - 6 Months

My client has an immediate requirement for an Interim Director of FP&A to join their team for 6 months+. Reporting to the CFO you will be responsible for the overall forecasting, reporting and budgeting for a large division of a listed business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading key finance projects and initiatives.
• Lead the definition and execution of strategic financial planning process providing in depth modelling and analysis to the senior team.
• Lead the central finance team to provide proactive financial support to the whole business.
• Lead monthly, Quarterly and annual reporting processes with focus on key factors impacting the P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash flow.
• Support the CFO in preparation for board meetings.
• Recommend and implement improvements in process.

Formal Qualifications Required:

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
• Strong academics
• Experience of a similar role within an International blue chip
• Broad knowledge of financial reporting systems
• A self-starter with strong organisational and planning skills
• Ability to manage projects and people
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the presentation and explanation of financial information
