Salary Our client is a successful and rapidly growing SME based in Doncaster. Renowned for their innovative approach and commitment to excellence, they are looking for a skilled Interim Financial Controller to join their team on a 6-month contract, with the potential for extension.
The Role:
As the Interim Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial operations of the company. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, your key responsibilities will include:
Leading the month-end and year-end closing processes
Preparing accurate and timely financial reports
Managing the budgeting and forecasting processes
Overseeing the implementation of process and system improvements
Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and standards
Providing strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management
Supporting the Finance Director with ad-hoc financial projects and analysis
Leading a small team
Key Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
Proven experience as a Financial Controller / Finance Manager
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Exceptional communication and leadership abilities
The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
