Assurance Advisor Role Overview:
• Provide expert guidance and support to the Boards and Committees to ensure they receive effective and adequate assurance of Group wide activities.
• Support effective assurance communication between the Board and its Committees whilst providing regular reporting linked to such assurance.
• Provide the Board and its Committees with an annual assurance report, whilst demonstrating that the Boards and its Committees are operating within the delegation framework and the terms of reference.
• Prepare board and committee meeting reading materials and agendas, attend board and committee meetings and record minutes as and when required and according to required deadlines.
• Support the Head of Governance or the Company Secretary in drafting any necessary reports or briefing papers as required.
• Support any governance led projects including year end processes and the production of the annual report and financial statements.
• Provide support to the wider remit of the Company Secretary, such as supporting the assurance activities of the Legal, Data Protection, Compliance, Scrutiny and Audit functions.
