Salary There is an immediate opportunity for a qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent Commercial Finance Manager to join this prestigious Lincoln based business for an initial 9 month contract. Joining the business at a crucial point in an exciting period of change this role will work closely with the CFO and be pivotal to establishing a robust and value add Commercial Finance function. There is potential for this to become a permanent position.
The role will take responsibility for:
* providing strategic insights, and driving financial decision-making processes. Develop and lead the annual budgeting and reforecasting processes.
* Provide strategic financial guidance to support long-term business objectives.
* Collaborate with senior leadership to align financial strategies with overall company goals.
* Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support decision-making and identify key business drivers.
* Prepare regular sales and margin reports in order to support commercial decision making across the business.
* Monitor and analyse variances between actual and budgeted financial performance, to validate business wide risks and opportunities.
* Work closely with department heads to understand their financial needs and provide insights.
* Collaborate with business leaders to ensure financial goals are aligned with operational objectives.
* Provide financial support for key business initiatives and projects.
* Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting, Business Improvement Plans and scenario analysis.
* Continuously refine forecasting methodologies to enhance accuracy.
* Identify opportunities for process improvement within the Commercial Finance function.
* Implement best practice to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
