Interim Head of Estates

Our client are a charity organisation based close to Leeds City Centre who are on the search for an Interim Head of Facilities & Estates to oversee FM delivery of their trophy public buildings.

This position is a 12 month contract offering an annual salary of around £50,000. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within an extraordinary environment with a role that offers both challenge and variety.

The Head of Estate & Facilities position is designed to provide high-level expertise in major capital programme tender and management, change management for the estate and facilities function and to implement long-term operating systems and practices, including planned preventative maintenance schedules.

The appointment will ensure that the buildings are fit for purpose and the post-holder will be an experienced estate, facilities and contracts manager, well-versed in managing and delivering such services in public buildings and used to working with the highest quality expectations, public sector procurement frameworks and highly complex operating environments.

The post will support the organisational need for experienced leadership for a programme of planning and overhaul to maintain and improve the museum building, oversee a series of major re-fit and renewal projects, establish long-term supplier contracts and relationships as well as implement operating practice changes.
Role package and details;

• Salary around £50,000
• 36 hour week 
• 12 month fixed term contract
• Mon - Fri, usually between 10am-5pm, (With occasional weekends or late nights when needed)
