Interim Head of Group Reporting

I have an immediate requirement for an Interim Head of Group Reporting to ensure the accurate preparation of Group Statutory Accounts. This role requires technical exposure to IFRS and GAAP reporting and will support the business through a critical period of change.
Responsibilities:
- Management of a small, qualified finance team
- Oversee the production of year end.
- Coordinate the preparation of multiple entity accounts.
- Liaise with and manage the relationship with the external auditors.
- Technical lead for IFRS.
- Support tax planning activity.
- Intercompany recharges and compliance with transfer pricing.
- Lead group process improvement and streamlining activity.
- Improve accuracy and delivery of the financial timetable.
Requirements:
- An accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA etc..)
- Proven experience in leading Financial Reporting teams.
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS, local GAAP, and relevant accounting standards.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to drive process improvements.
- Expertise in external audit coordination and technical accounting matters.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting to senior stakeholders.
