On offer is an exciting opportunity for a Head of IT to support one of the world's largest public healthcare service as their current Head of ICT takes a period of secondment. Founded in 2019, this spin off has over 900 staff and support not just the hospital but the wider Derbyshire county NHS and offering a range of services from Estates, Security, Facilities and more.

In this role, the successful Head of IT will be responsible for overseeing the whole of the IT department and general infrastructure through your direct reports, program manager, quality governance and operations manager, who will all be looking to you for solutions, leadership and direction.

The ideal Head of IT would preferably come from a medical or NHS background, have good overall IT knowledge and great line management experience. Happy to be in the office 5 days.

The Role:

• Management of IT Department.
• Oversee projects as/when needed.
• Report to IT Director.
• Working within a busy hospital environment.
• 12 months fixed term contract.

The Person:

• Head of IT experience.
• Good knowledge of IT infrastructure.
• Not hands on.
• Local to Chesterfield.
