Well… I am currently working with a Local Authority based in Hampshire who are on the hunt for an Interim Head of Technical to help drive forward major infrastructure and housing projects!
This Local Authority have incredible plans to drive forward the development of a whole new town centre.
Leading a team of around 20 individuals, as the Interim Head of Technical, you would be responsible from taking projects from Concept/Brief through to Design and Planning stages.
What will you be doing?
- Collaborate with colleagues, partners, and stakeholders to successfully deliver all aspects of the Programme, mitigating risks for the Council.
- Coordinate the work of specialist consultants and manage the Planning and Technical Team from RIBA stage 0 - 6.
- Liaise closely with the Senior Planning Manager on developer-led Town & Country Planning matters.
- Collaborate with other Heads of Dept. for corporate reporting and ensure compliance with approved business plans and timescales.
Experience in leading major Infrastructure or House Building schemes at a Director or Head of Service level is required for this role.
Public Sector experience is ideal.
