Wee delighted to be working with an international industrial organisation in Hartlepool who are going through an exciting period of growth and modernisation. This is a fixed term contract for a period of 12 months to support the Head of HR and lead on a number of people related projects.
The Role;
Based in Hartlepool, this is an operational role to support the site leadership teams and lead a number of business improvement projects. Key elements of the role include;
- first point of contact for colleagues across two sites, coaching and developing the management teams through all people related activities.
- addressing issues around long term and short term absence, developing and embedding health and wellbeing initiatives.
- developing management capability and enabling managers to drive high performance within their business areas.
- developing and embedding employee engagement activities.
- working with external parties on recruitment and onboarding.
- leading on learning and development activities across the site.
- supporting organisational change and restructuring activities.
- improving policies and procedures and ensuring they are fit for purpose.
- supporting the wider HR team on both local and global projects.
- continually improving processes and ways of working.
- HR administration and coordination.
This role offer hybrid working with 4 days on site and 1 day home based.
The Person;
The suitable candidate will be a highly experienced HR generalist with good operational experience gained in a similar role. You will be;
- a self starter, someone who can work autonomously and independently.
- able to support strategic and operational elements of the role.
- able to identify opportunities for improvement.
- effective at building strong relationships with key stakeholders at all levels.
- good at developing employee engagement activities an developing effective ways to communicate colleagues.
