SalaryWe are currently seeking a Licensing Manager to oversee the Council's busy licensing service.
Responsible for managing a specialist team and dealing with a wide variety of statutory licensing and registration functions affecting businesses and other organisations throughout the borough, you will work to ensure the continuing successful delivery of the Licensing service to our customers and communities, building upon recent changes and incorporating new government policies and legislation affecting the service area.
We offer a flexible/hybrid working environment and you will be able to work remotely for part of the week.
You should be confident, forward thinking and committed to improving the way things work.
You also need to be able to manage a team effectively and work well as part of a team in addition to taking on individual responsibilities.
Applicants must have a driving licence that is valid in the UK and use of a vehicle.
A Standard check will be undertaken with the Disclosure and Barring Service to ensure that the successful candidate has no relevant convictions.
