DCT Recruitment are looking to fill an Intermediary role for our client. This is working self employed and covering North East, South East, London Areas

Your responsibilities to us
• You will work in locations/regions of your choice, supporting adults who have communications difficulties, to ensure that they have a fair access to justice.
• You will work in criminal or family cases, or other proceedings (including immigration hearings, parole hearings and employment tribunals), where you will provide communication support for defendants, respondents and other court users.
• You will engage with the Cooperative to give feedback when requested.

Qualifications:
Experience and Qualifications
Must have:-
• A track record of working as a Court Appointed or Registered Intermediary
• Completed training as a HMCTS or as an RI OR be willing to undertake TIC training.
• Good experience of working as a RI/ASP or Intermediary in either criminal or family courts
• DBS at enhanced level OR be willing to apply for it.
• ICO registration OR be willing to apply for it.
• Professional Indemnity Insurance OR be willing to pay for it.
• Not have any complaints against you with MOJ
• Be able to give up to 2 work related references ( if requested)
Desirable:-
• Professional qualification such as speech language therapist.
