My client is a multidisciplined engineering consultancy who provide their specialised mechanical and electrical services to a range of sectors across the UK. My client is looking to recruit an Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer to report to their offices in Solihull.

Electrical Design Engineers will be responsible for working in a team environment on a variety of projects across all stages of development. The role will entail the production of drawings, specifications, and design calculations through the use of manual and computer techniques, as well as monitoring your design deliver to make sure it is inline with the programme and budget. The role will also include understanding the clients' requirements providing them with solutions, along with providing your technical design knowledge and co-ordination.

Requirements for the Electrical Design Engineer role include:

• BEng or MEng in electrical or building services engineering
• Relevant experience of design within building services
• Experience in relevant software's such as Relux/Dialux, Amtech, and Revit
• CIBSE or IET membership
• Working knowledge of BREEAM
